With a Lattice MachXO3L, it's possible to "bridge", "switch", "duplicate" and "merge" CSI2 camera signals.

- bridge: this consist of a SPST, single pole - single throw. The camera signal is received in the FPGA and outputs. This enables for instance to modify the content of the frame.

- switch: this consists of a SPDT, single pole - double throw. It's equivalent to Fairchild FSA642 (https://www.fairchildsemi.com/products/analog-mixed-signal/switches/mipi-switches/FSA642.html), except it's digital and not analogic (see below). This enables for instance to have two CSI2 cameras linked to a single CSI2 processor input and switch between the two cameras.

- duplicate: this consists of receiving a single CSI2 camera signal and outputs it identically to 2 processors. For instance, you might want to have one...

I do believe thats true - since hyper threading does share some elements - specifically the main execution resources, you'll be able to run 4 full threads at once, rather than waiting for those resources to be freed up.

The point of HT is to get better performance with a smaller use of die area - your quad core would generally be a bigger chip - say almost twice as large, than a non HT dual core chip, while a HT dual core chip would be about 5% larger. The Quad core could see up to twice the speed under the right work load (though, unlikely since you probably won't be running 4 threads at full capacity in most cases), while the dual core HT processor would see 15-30% better performance (according to wikipedia) than a dual core non HT processor.

More actual cores is usually...

If you have a very large broadcast domains then think about segmenting it either with vlan's or using a layer 3 switch. You'll be able to put all your AP's onto one vlan and associate end stations with function. You'll also cut-down on broadcast flooding on your switches, thus increasing performance and lowing the possibility that one end station can dos your entire LAN.

Vlan's are powerful stuff, if you have fairly good/modern switches they should support vlans, they just need configuring.

You'll be able to implement a better security policy too.

Was the duplicate IP a configuration problem? or a security problem ;-) .

Segment that lan, before it becomes a monster.

Once you have you vlan's up and going and have regained control of your network, you can look at technologies to prevent ip address...

First you need to start by assembling the components onto your solar panel, or breadboard. The LDRs (light dependent resistors) or PRs (photo-resistors) change resistance with changing light, therefore they need to be connected in such a way that the changing resistance is converted into a changing voltage signal which the Arduino understands. The servo is controlled through one of the Arduino's PWM outputs.

If you are going to be installing the solar tracker permanently then you may want to solder the resistors and LDRs together so that they cannot come loose. If you are simply trying this project for fun then a breadboard is perfect.

The basic circuit for the connection of the LDRs and servo to the Arduino is shown in the attached image.

The resistors R1 and R2 are each 4.7K, the PR1 and PR2 are the two LDRs and the servo can be any PWM hobby servo. If you are using a servo larger than 9 grams then the Arduino will probably not be able to supply it enough...

After this paragraph, you’ll have the chance to read nearly 6,300 words about the fastest transcontinental drive in history. Most of the important stuff is near the top; the rest of it is a detail-oriented interview with Alex for the community of fans across the country who live and die for this sort of thing. A personal disclaimer: In my opinion, having the “transcontinental record” is an accomplishment roughly on the same level as having the most awesome fox suit at a furry convention. But TTAC isn’t a charity. It’s a business. And we need those sweet, sweet clicks. Integrity? What’s that? — jb

“I’ve always said I’d never do this again, but as a minor Bond villain put it, never say never.”

So says Alex Roy – the Doctor Evil of illegal long-distance driving events. According to Roy, women want him, and men want to be him. According to actual women, he’s got a great scarf...
